The less protected leather is, the more prestigious and soft will the surface appear to the touch. On all leathers due to the natural elasticity, wrinkling cannot be avoided. Also on most leathers, you will see natural characteristics such as stretch marks, insect bites, scars and color variation, which confirms that the hides are very high quality.

This means that these leathers went through an Italian tanning process that creates a heavy-pigmented finish coat on the surface of the hides that becomes a barrier against spills, stains, and fading. On High Protected leathers due to the natural elasticity, wrinkling cannot be avoided. We recommend High protected leathers for families with children and for areas with very high use.
